Activities:  We will learn about the Japanese style of cartooning known as manga and anime. We will create our own anime characters and feature them in a piece of art or manga comic book.

Activities: To take a deeper dive into learning about Art, we will get to make lots of styles of art such painting, sculpture, and printmaking and experiment with art materials that are too cool for normal art class.

Our philosophy is to create an after school chess organization that will absolutely maximize your child’s enjoyment and potential. We know what it takes to be a nationally competitive scholastic player as well as how to create a fun learning environment for all children. We provide all your child’s needs from relaxing and fun after school programs, tournaments and instructional camps, to private lessons for advanced players.

Activities:  Chorus is open to students in grades 4-5 and meets weekly before school beginning in October. Registration packets will be available from Mrs. Orr. Involvement in the Chorusing Cougars involves singing, some drama and prop preparation. Chorus performs at various school activities and occasionally at other venues.

Activities: Students will build and program a Lego EV3 robot to complete missions.  The team will also develop and research a project related to the annual competition theme.  The team will attend a First Lego League competition in December.
