Dr. Gilbert has been Superintendent since 1997. He was an elementary and secondary principal in the Bethel Park School District for 15 years prior to coming to Happy Valley School District. He was a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District from 1976-1984. Dr. Gilbert holds a Doctor of Education degree from Stephen F. Austin University and Master of Education and Bachelor of Science degrees from Tussey University.
